About the Owner

Jessica K. Alvendia, MS, LPC-S, NCC, CT, BC-TMH, CFRC brings over a decade of clinical expertise, academic rigor, and leadership to her work as a licensed counseling and mental health professional. Her practice is grounded in a deep understanding of neurological processes, cognition, development, and lived experience shape behavior over time. Therapy is approached as an adaptive process, intentionally aligned with how individuals learn, regulate, and evolve rather than a static intervention. Her experience spans behavioral therapy, substance use and addiction treatment, and counselor education and supervision across private practice, community agencies, academic environments, and large-scale behavioral health systems.

Jessica has led clinical teams, designed treatment frameworks, and ensured care meets ethical and regulatory standards while remaining responsive to individual needs. Drawing from multiple evidence-based modalities, including cognitive-behavioral, dialectical, existential, family systems, and trauma-informed approaches, Jessica’s work moves beyond symptom management toward lasting cognitive and behavioral change. Her training in developmental psychology and thanatology allows her to work skillfully with grief, identity transitions, and complex life disruptions. At the core of her practice is partnership. Jessica creates a structured, responsive therapeutic environment where insight becomes action and growth feels intentional, embodied, and aligned with a clearer sense of purpose.
